Has an accident just happened?


Can the patient actively move their upper limbs at all?


Can the patient bend their elbow towards their face?


Can the patient bend their wrist up?


Can the patient straighten their arm at the elbow?


Can the patient bend their fingers?


Can the patient spead their fingers apart?


Does the patient have sensation at their nipple line? (upper thoracic)


Does the patient have sensation at their navel line? (lower thoracic)


Can the patient bring their knees up to their chest while lying on their back?


Can the patient straighten their knee? feel for flickers of muscle activity as well


Can they pull their foot up whilst keeping knee straight?


Can they push their foot down while keeping their knee straight?


Does the patient have a pressure cushion?


Is the patient using their wheelchair safely? (with emphasis on brakes and going up ramps)
